Villa Maison Noir, Cape Town : A little piece of heaven
Just 30 min away from the buzz of Cape Town, you will find this stunning villa, set on a beautiful private estate in Hout Bay. This heavenly place offers luxury, bespoke timeless design and architecture in combination with tranquillity, outstanding service and sumptuous food. A place made for relaxation and where one can truly unwind away from it all. A home away from home.
General Manager Nick Hamblen and private chef Charisse Nel will ensure your stay will be magical. With their attention to detail and passion for what they do, it is difficult to not fall in love with this place.
" The ability to dream, the instinct to imagine, the desire for discovery. These are the distinctively human traits that inspire us "
The house was designed through a collaboration with architect Paolo Deliperi, and the villa is rooted in the concept of the ‘kraal’- a series of small buildings - which inspired this modern interpretation.
Open spaces, large glass windows as well as combining outside and inside living in a seamless way were crucial.
Both interior and exterior design details are influenced by African, French, Indonesian, and global traditions that have defined Cape Town for centuries. The American owners are avid lovers of great design and art and the villa is filled with an extensive collection of bespoke art pieces by South African artists.
The feeling of being far away from everything despite being only moments away from town, is evident. Villa Maison Noir offers privacy and secludedness which might be the most luxurious and important factor of all.
Hang out by the pool, curl up with a book in one of the outdoors sofas and just soak up the atmosphere and relax. Let Charisse and her staff whip up a gorgeous meal for you or maybe take some cooking classes yourself. If you want to go for some adventure or explore, Cape Town offers endless variety of nature, beaches, restaurants and experiences (read more about Cape Town and its hot spots in previous article by clicking here).
As mention above, the villa sets on an impressive private estate surrounded by breathtakingly beautiful nature- 360 degrees uninterrupted views of the mountains, lush gardens and the majestic Table Mountain.
The villa has its own herb and vegetables garden and plentiful of fruit trees. The thought is to be able to serve home grown fresh produce to guest and if the guests prefer to cook themselves, they should be able to experience the full harvesting process by picking the home grown produce from the garden.
Villa Maison Noir offers an extensive wine cellar with the best of South African wines and soon, in a couple of months, they will be able to offer their own labelled Chenin Blanc, Pinotage and Rose, being produced from the nearby, local vineyards.
Villa Maison Noir has 4 luxurious bedrooms. To rent the villa, pls email us at info@alimitlessworld.com
